Is getting a dental implant painful?

The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel pressure but not pain. Most patients say it was easier than a tooth extraction, and any soreness afterwards is usually managed with simple painkillers for a few days.

How long do dental implants last?

With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants can last for many years, often a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacement after 10–15 years due to normal wear.

Am I a suitable candidate for implants?

Most healthy adults with a missing tooth are suitable. We check your bone, gums and general health with a 3D CBCT scan. Smoking or uncontrolled diabetes can affect healing, so we discuss these with you first.

How long does the full implant treatment take?

A typical single implant takes about 3 to 6 months from placement to the final crown, as the implant needs time to bond with the bone. In suitable cases, a temporary tooth can be placed sooner.

What does a dental implant cost in Chandigarh?

Cost depends on the number of implants, the implant system and whether bone grafting is needed. After your consultation and scan, we give you a clear written estimate, with EMI options available.

Can I get fixed teeth on the same day?

For some patients with enough healthy bone, immediate implants or fixed temporary teeth are possible. Your specialist will tell you after the 3D scan whether this is right for you.
